       This tour is designed to inspire the older crowd, by "road-tripping" two of our country's most iconic scenic by-ways. The goal of this tour is to view the beautiful scenery and enjoy daily"side-trip" excursions. You can expect wonderful meals and very nice accommodations; along with tours of places like Biltmore and Luray Caverns. The trip will originate in Raleigh, NC, and begin on Monday after your Sunday night stay. From here our tour will take us to Cherokee, NC where we will begin a northbound, awe-inspiring trip through the scenic Appalachian Mountains via the Blueridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. We will spend 2 nights in Harpers Ferry,WV, before we start back to Asheville.

       The tour will end at one of Asheville's most exclusive lodges. Then on Saturday evening, we will return to Raleigh NC. Here, you will be offered another night's stay for those planning to fly out of Raleigh/ Durham International Airport on Sunday. This tour will be launched at about the same time as our initial tour and will be offered twice our first year. Also, our first year we will only be able to accommodate 4 to 6 guests on this scenic adventure tour.

       Guest will need to walk quite a bit from time to time; otherwise, this tour does not require much physical conditioning. Therefore, this trip is considered a Level 1  Activity Tour.

 

Recommended gear required will include:

1, Small daypack - (available) 

2. Good walking shoes

3. Light rain apparel/ umbrella

4. Sunglasses and sunscreen

5. Motion sickness medicine - (provided)

6. Camera/ binoculars - (optional)
